Food stalls in Bangkok

Numerous food stalls and restaurants in Bangkok, corrugated iron, - you stumble over it, no one has hamburgers, kebabs, sandwiches and all the Western food to eat in Banglampoo.

Go for example, in the Khao San to the end without a Police Station, turn right, keeping the 8-lane road, continue until the first channel on the right. Dinner runs along the canal, an armada of hot food stalls. Despite the proximity to Touriviertel almost all Thais there. Let's not scare you with battered metal cutlery and colorful, wobbly plastic furniture. There are sometimes world-class cuisine, but at least a solid pasta or rice dish for not even a dollar.

The warnings about the health of some Guide ( "only boiled and packed, blah, blah, blah ...") are exaggerated and hysterical.

First, Thai people themselves hold a lot of cleanliness, secondly, I had dinner with many farangs at food stalls. I know of no case that anyone ever had that problem.

Eat what looks good and good (and bear with an accelerated digestion, smells like a man - or woman).

Tattoo in Khao san road

There are some art shops in the area of Khao San Road. They show some of the magical works of art you will ever see. Shopping around to find out what is available is a good idea can be something that really moves your emotions when you see it. Religious art and religious statues are often found in the sacred texts in Sanskrit on them. Buddhists and Hindus, the images are usually integrated in some of their shows. They are the perfect souvenir at home so as not to forget your experience or the feeling of holiday in Thailand.

Tuk tuk

To get Tuk tuk because it is cheaper to get an option during the 'rink' is the end of Khaosan Road. This applies throughout the world in Bangkok. About 50THB to Grand Palace. Keep in mind to negotiate the price before you enter, and do not pay until you reach your destination safely. Say the tuk-tuk driver, you do not want to go somewhere other than the target (do not believe the stories that your goal is not open). From there you can walk to Wat Pho. National museams Price 200THB enterance fee, and costs about 60THB from the complex of Wat Pho for a tuk tuk.

If someone says they are a government of action. When someone gets too high, go away. If someone tells you it is closed, but they give you a ride, go ahead. Be determined, but not rude, smile and walk away. Looking for someone honest and not wait for you on this site, because they expect to collect fees (these issues must be negotiated and agreed in advance). Paid at the end of the trip, and if you need to change in a Tuk Tuk living up to it. Agree a price before you get in if something seems too good to be true it probably is.

When you move to Bangkok, make sure that the TAT-no. Travel agent you use. Do not trust a "cheap" VIP card. Avoid all the services, catamarans, which are all sick, including the crew.

Noodle vendors abound on this most viscerally appealing of Bangkok streets. Sidle up to one and place your order—the vendor will set a wok ablaze, dashing in noodles, vegetables and a meat of your choice with practiced aplomb. Receive your prize in a styrofoam container, grab your chopsticks, and add a little heat to your meal with the vendor's free selection of spices and sauces. The price? Well under 1USD. Just remember, milk does better than beer to put out the fire....

Night life at Khaosan road

Khao San Road
takes off at night: neon signs flicker into life, music begins blasting from streetside sound systems, while the masses begin mapping out the long, alcohol-soaked night in front of them.

And there's no shortage of choices. From the (relatively) upscale Silk Bar and Cinnamon, to the quiet tranquility of the back-alley Hippie de Bar, or the crude charms of a kerb-side cocktail shack complete with plastic stools and ghetto blaster, there's something to suit every mood, taste, budget and state of cleanliness. Some of the truly thrifty even opt to purchase beers from the local 7/11 and drink on the street, hobo style.

Khao San Clubbing
At around 23:00, Khao San Road's clubs kick into life. These play mostly hip-hip, house and pumping pop, alongside a dash of indie, rock and reggae. Some of the most popular venues for dance music lovers include Lava Bar, The Club and Immortal, with locals DJ's working up a storm that pulls in a crowd most nights.

For those not partial to being pummeled by electronic beats, there are several pubs and bars with live music. Brick Bar and Shamrock are especially noteworthy for their slick bands and popularity among both locals and visitors. And a Moroccan themed newcomer on Chakrapong Road, Gazebo, is well worth checking out. Head here for a smoky shisha session while you sway to the live reggae band, followed by a late night cocktail and dance in the DJ room next door. Very eclectic, very Khao San.
